I believe this event actually occurred sometime back in March, but somehow the pictures were forgotten. That being said, I just had to post them because, for those of us that were there, it was a memorable experience. While visiting the zoo, we decided to enter into the caged area where you can feed birds. These birds do not have any hesitations in coming right up to you to get their food. Emma was entertained, Claire was slightly uneasy, Jeremy was humored, and I was good to go until they started climbing all over me. Soon after this picture of me was taken, a third bird landed on my head or shoulder, and I was freaking. Needless to say, the food went down, the birds were "shooed", and I declared the experience o-v-e-r. The pictures only tell half of the story. :)
