This past Friday night, we made a trip with some friends to Boo at the Zoo. Throughout the month of October our zoo opens on weekend nights with special Halloween decorations, lights, and activities. As you can see, Claire has chosen to be a "Barbie Princess" for Halloween, and, after falling in love with the Care Bears from a movie, Emma is "Cheer Bear" (with princess shoes, of course).
While at the zoo, Claire most enjoyed her trip down "Candy Lane" for trick-or-treating, and Emma liked seeing the animals that were out in the farm area (especially the the llama and the owl). Both of the girls had fun riding the carousel that was running backwards with black lights on. It was great to spend time with friends, and fun to dive into the start of many Halloween festivities that are to come!
